It was great for the team to be back in Kent for the next stage of this garden installation.
Our first visit saw the team install our Traditional Estate Fencing. The fence was installed to divide and create areas for the clients miniature donkeys- who were incredibly friendly and the whole team loved meeting. Supplied loose to site so the team could fully weld, concrete and paint , It was finished with Rutland end posts and the client chose traditional black (although we can paint the fence to any desired colour of choice or leave to rust naturally. It creates a strong barrier for the donkeys whilst not blocking their view of the rest of the garden and will outlast the standard wooden fence. Our solid fence line will last for over 60 years.
At the second visit the team installed Legacy 5 Edging to create a neat border around certain areas of the garden. This ranged from defining flower beds and pathways to surrounding the duck pond.
The Legacy 5 edging surrounding the duck pond was to create a border between the lawn and pond, with gravel added to the water side, the steel edge will prevent the spreading of the gravel onto the lawn. The team started by fixing the stripes of edging to the solid steel fixing pins (16mm diameter, 400mm long). They are driven into the ground and spaced at 1m intervals to secure the edging. Fully welded to add strength the Legacy 5 connecting system allows the rapid, easy and secure installation for the team.
Our edging is a long lasting solution to neat and tidy borders. It will not rot or become brittle and can survive the elements. It is perfect for containing gravel and is strong enough to withstand garden machinery. The edging was installed surrounding the flower beds and defining the garden paths that will be filled with shingle.
Dom who was in charge of the site had this to say. It was great to be back in Kent and not only see the clients again but the miniature donkeys who were incredibly friendly. The job went very smoothly and we look forward to going back again in the future.
