We have worked for many National Trust sites installing Legacy Edging and The Traditional Company’s steel Estate Fencing.
Charlecote Park is a beautiful 16th-century house surrounded by a landscaped deer park on the banks of the river Avon.
The house is nestled within a beautifully maintained deer park, home to free-roaming fallow deer and a charming herd of Jacob Sheep. With more than 180 acres of picturesque parkland to explore, it’s truly an enchanting destination for all visitors.
We were tasked with installing edging to the main lawn area- known as Green Court. We used Legacy 5 which is 5mm thick and Legacy 6 which is 6mm thick to surround the lawn and path areas. We worked closely with the trust to re-frame Sir Edmund Fairfax-Lucy’s parterre which was planted in 2000.
Our edging is perfect for creating formal borders, pathways, and driveways, giving you a crisp and clear separation. Crafted from Solid UK Steel, this durable and substantial edging can be easily bent onsite to fit radiuses of up to 5 meters. It’s designed to withstand the pressure of garden machinery and vehicles, ensuring longevity and strength.
Our legacy edging comes in a variety of heights to accommodate any project, with the 150mm height being a favourite among landscape gardeners and installers. Each section is available in 3m lengths and shipped via Palletline.
